Our new production line is located on the 2000-square-meter site of our new Component Factory. Our productivity has become more than double with the introduction of optimum facility and automation of various test equipment. We believe that this productivity enhancement will accelerate technical innovation.
Inheriting the tradition of "Meiden the Vacuum"

Vacuum capacitors have high breakdown voltage and thus can be used in high voltage circuit. Electrodes for making capacitance are uniformly and accurately allocated inside the ceramic envelope that maintains the vacuum state for a long time. Vacuum capacitors have low dielectric loss because highly conductive copper is used as their electrode component. There are a number of requirements that vacuum capacitors must meet: high withstand voltage, high capacitance, compact size, low capacity tolerance, and long life. As it is our desire to carry on the tradition of “Meiden the Vacuum” based on our vacuum insulation technology, we would like to strenuously make efforts towards the development of vacuum products as “RF precision components” to meet the aforementioned challenge.
Acquisition of ISO9001 Certificate by Vacuum Capacitor Business Unit alone
Quality Assurance Section : Yutaka Higa
Vacuum Capacitor Business Unit independently obtained ISO9001 Certificate (Quality Management System) in December 2009. Requirements for quality assurance not only refer to the acquisition of ISO9001 certification but extend to Copy Exact (CE!), manufacturing process control, statistics management, environment/health/safety management, and RoHS compliance as well. We would like to strengthen our management system based on ISO9001 in order to supply highly reliable vacuum capacitors. Your continued support will be greatly appreciated.
A new production line exclusively for vacuum capacitors that sustains their high quality and reliability

Our main objective of opening a new production line is to enhance our productivity. It has gone into full-scale operation in April 2010. Main equipment such as vacuum furnace and acid washer are renewed, and the production line is no longer shared between vacuum capacitors and vacuum interrupters. The introduction of test/production control systems realizes the digitalization of test data, strengthens the traceability of products, and enables us to cross-search orders, delivery, and schedule at all times. We would like to do our best to supply highly reliable products for customer satisfaction.
